  • 2 cups cubed bread (day-old works best)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, salt, pepper, and dried parsley.
  3. Layer the cubed bread evenly in the prepared baking dish.
  4. Sprinkle cooked sausage, bell peppers, onions, and shredded cheese over the bread.
  5. Pour the egg mixture evenly on top.
  6. Bake for 35–40 minutes until the casserole is set and golden on top.
  7. Let cool for 5 minutes before slicing and serving.
