Description
A traditional Scottish dessert made with layers of whipped cream, toasted oats, whisky, honey, and fresh raspberries for a sweet and boozy treat.

- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 2 tablespoons whisky
- 1/2 cup rolled oats, toasted
- 1 cup fresh raspberries
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Toast the oats in a dry skillet over medium heat until golden brown and fragrant.
- In a bowl, whip the heavy cream with vanilla extract until soft peaks form.
- Gently fold in honey and whisky.
- Layer the whipped cream mixture, toasted oats, and fresh raspberries in serving glasses or bowls.
- Repeat layers as desired.
- Top with additional raspberries and a sprinkle of toasted oats.
- Chill in the refrigerator for 15β20 minutes before serving.
Notes
Use high-quality whisky for best flavor. Cranachan can be made ahead and chilled before serving.
