Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers


Description

Crispy, golden Raising Cane’s-style chicken fingers that are juicy on the inside and perfectly seasoned, served with their signature dipping sauce.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb chicken tenders
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 cup buttermilk
  • Vegetable oil for frying
  • Optional: Lemon wedges for serving
  • For Cane’s Sauce: 1/2 cup mayonnaise, 3 tablespoons ketchup, 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce, 1/2 teaspoon black pepper, 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, whisk egg and buttermilk together.
  2. In another bowl, combine flour, paprika, garlic powder, salt, black pepper, and cayenne.
  3. Dip chicken tenders into egg mixture, then dredge in seasoned flour.
  4. Heat vegetable oil in a deep skillet or fryer to 350°F (175°C).
  5. Fry chicken tenders in batches for 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through.
  6. Drain on paper towels.
  7. For Cane’s sauce, mix mayonnaise, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, black pepper, and garlic powder in a small bowl.
  8. Serve chicken fingers with Cane’s sauce and optional lemon wedges.

Notes

For extra crispiness, double-dredge the chicken. Serve immediately for the best texture.
