Onion Scallion Chicken


Description

Ingredients

  • 1 lb chicken breast, sliced
  • 2 large onions, sliced
  • 4 scallions, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, grated

Instructions

  1. Heat sesame oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add garlic and ginger, sauté for 1 minute.
  3. Add chicken slices, season with salt and pepper, cook until lightly browned.
  4. Add sliced onions and cook until softened.
  5. Stir in scallions and soy sauce, cook for another 2-3 minutes.
  6. Serve hot over rice or noodles.

Notes

For extra flavor, marinate the chicken in soy sauce and ginger for 30 minutes before cooking.
