Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 packet Kinder’s chili seasoning
  • 1 can (15 oz) diced tomatoes
  • 1 can (15 oz) kidney beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 can (8 oz) tomato sauce
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
  2. Add diced onion and cook until softened.
  3. Add ground beef and cook until browned.
  4. Drain excess grease if needed.
  5. Stir in garlic and cook for 30 seconds.
  6. Add Kinder’s chili seasoning, diced tomatoes, kidney beans, tomato sauce, and beef broth.
  7. Stir well to combine.
  8. Bring to a simmer.
  9. Reduce heat and simmer uncovered for 25–30 minutes.
  10. Season with salt if needed.
  11. Serve hot.

Notes
