- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/2 cup finely chopped onions
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 large egg
- 2 tablespoons milk
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine ground beef, onions, garlic, egg, milk, breadcrumbs, parsley, salt, and pepper.
- Mix gently until just combined.
- Form the mixture into evenly sized patties.
- Heat butter and olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Add patties to the skillet and cook for 4–5 minutes per side until browned and cooked through.
- Remove from heat and let rest briefly before serving.
Notes
Handle the meat lightly to keep the patties tender. Serve with potatoes or a green salad for a classic meal.
