- 8 oz lo mein noodles
- 1 lb ground beef
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, minced
- 1 cup shredded carrots
- 1 cup sliced bell peppers
- 1/2 cup sliced green onions
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
- 1 tablespoon hoisin sauce
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cook lo mein noodles according to package instructions and drain.
- Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium heat.
- Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart.
- Add garlic and ginger, cooking for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Stir in carrots and bell peppers and cook for 2-3 minutes.
- Add soy sauce, oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, and sesame oil.
- Add cooked noodles and toss until evenly coated.
- Season with salt and pepper and garnish with green onions before serving.
Notes
For extra heat, add chili flakes or sriracha. Swap ground beef with ground chicken if desired.
