Description

Ingredients

  • 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
  • 2 large tomatoes, sliced
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh basil leaves for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400Β°F (200Β°C).
  2. Roll out puff pastry on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  3. Spread Dijon mustard over the center of the pastry, leaving a 1-inch border.
  4. Layer tomato slices over the mustard.
  5. Sprinkle mozzarella and Parmesan cheese over the tomatoes.
  6. Sprinkle oregano, salt, and pepper over the top.
  7. Fold the edges of the pastry over the filling to form a rustic border.
  8. Brush edges with olive oil.
  9. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until pastry is golden and crisp.
  10. Garnish with fresh basil and serve as part of a breakfast platter.
