Description

A light and creamy pistachio mousse that’s quick to make and perfect for any dessert occasion.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 200g pistachios, shelled
  • 50g sugar
  • 300ml heavy cream
  • 3 egg whites
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Grind the pistachios with sugar until finely powdered.
  2. Whip the heavy cream until soft peaks form.
  3. In a separate bowl, beat the egg whites with a pinch of salt until stiff peaks form.
  4. Gently fold the ground pistachios and vanilla extract into the whipped cream.
  5. Carefully fold in the beaten egg whites until fully incorporated.
  6. Divide the mousse into serving glasses.
  7. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving.
  8. Optional: garnish with chopped pistachios or a drizzle of chocolate.

Notes

Ensure the egg whites are at room temperature for best volume. Serve chilled for optimal texture.
