Ingredients

- 2 cups of all-purpose flour
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup pumpkin puree
- 1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, mix flour, brown sugar, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
- In another bowl, whisk melted butter, eggs, vanilla, and pumpkin puree until smooth.
- Combine wet and dry ingredients until just mixed.
- Fold in nuts if using.
- Pour batter into a greased 9×13-inch baking pan.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let cool before serving.
Notes
For extra flavor, sprinkle a little cinnamon sugar on top before baking or serve with whipped cream.
