Description

Ingredients

  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup mascarpone cheese
  • 1/3 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup brewed espresso or strong coffee, cooled
  • 12 ladyfinger cookies
  • Unsweetened cocoa powder for dusting

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, beat mascarpone cheese until smooth.
  2. Add powdered sugar and vanilla extract.
  3. Whip heavy cream in a separate bowl until soft peaks form.
  4. Gently fold whipped cream into the mascarpone mixture.
  5. Quickly dip ladyfingers into cooled espresso.
  6. Arrange a layer of dipped ladyfingers in serving glasses or a dish.
  7. Spoon mascarpone cream over the ladyfingers.
  8. Repeat layers if desired.
  9. Dust the top with cocoa powder.
  10. Chill before serving.
