- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 4 large eggs
- 2 cups cold milk
- 1 package instant vanilla pudding mix
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Chocolate syrup for topping
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 200Β°C.
- In a saucepan, bring water and butter to a boil.
- Remove from heat and stir in flour until a dough forms.
- Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Spread dough evenly into a greased baking dish.
- Bake for 30β35 minutes until puffed and golden.
- Cool completely.
- Whisk milk and pudding mix until thick.
- In a separate bowl, whip heavy cream with powdered sugar and vanilla extract.
- Fold whipped cream into pudding.
- Spread filling over cooled pastry.
- Drizzle with chocolate syrup.
- Chill before serving.
Notes
For best results, chill at least 1 hour before serving. You can substitute chocolate pudding for a richer variation.
