Description

A rich and easy chocolate cobbler with a fudgy chocolate base and soft, cake-like topping, perfect for a simple dessert.


Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9-inch baking dish.
  2. In a medium bowl, mix flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Stir in milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  4. Pour batter into prepared baking dish and sprinkle chocolate chips on top if using.
  5. Bake for 25-30 minutes until set and a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  6. Let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Serve warm with ice cream or whipped cream. You can substitute milk with almond milk for a lighter version.
