Description

A delicious and easy breakfast stromboli filled with eggs, cheese, and your favorite breakfast meats, perfect for a grab-and-go morning meal.


Ingredients

  • 1 sheet of refrigerated pizza dough
  • 4 large eggs, scrambled
  • 1/2 cup cooked bacon or sausage, chopped
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup diced bell peppers
  • 1/4 cup diced onions
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 egg, beaten for egg wash

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400Β°F (200Β°C).
  2. In a skillet, melt butter and sautΓ© onions and bell peppers until soft.
  3. Add scrambled eggs and cooked bacon or sausage, cook until eggs are set.
  4. Roll out pizza dough on a baking sheet.
  5. Place egg mixture in the center of the dough, leaving edges clear.
  6. Sprinkle cheddar cheese over the top of the filling.
  7. Fold the dough over the filling and seal the edges.
  8. Brush with beaten egg for a golden finish.
  9. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
  10. Slice and serve warm.

Notes

You can add spinach or mushrooms for extra veggies. Serve with salsa or ketchup if desired.
