Description

A simple and delicious breakfast quiche filled with eggs, cheese, and your favorite breakfast meats or vegetables, perfect for a quick morning meal.


Ingredients

  • 1 pre-made pie crust
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup milk or cream
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup cooked bacon or sausage, chopped
  • 1/4 cup diced onions
  • 1/4 cup diced bell peppers
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: fresh herbs for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Place pie crust in a 9-inch pie pan and set aside.
  3. In a skillet, sauté onions and bell peppers until soft.
  4. In a mixing bowl, whisk together eggs and milk or cream.
  5. Add sautéed vegetables, cooked bacon or sausage, and shredded cheese to the egg mixture.
  6. Season with salt and pepper.
  7. Pour the mixture into the prepared pie crust.
  8. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until the quiche is set and lightly golden.
  9. Allow to cool slightly, garnish with fresh herbs if desired, and serve warm.

Notes

This quiche can be made ahead and reheated for a quick breakfast. Feel free to add spinach, mushrooms, or other favorite veggies.
