- 4 cups frozen waffles, chopped
- 6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 6 large eggs
- 1 1/2 cups milk
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- Butter for greasing
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 180Β°C.
- Grease a baking dish with butter.
- Spread the chopped waffles evenly in the dish.
- Sprinkle the cooked bacon over the waffles.
- In a bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
- Pour the egg mixture evenly over the waffles and bacon.
- Top with shredded cheddar cheese.
- Bake for 30β35 minutes until set and golden.
- Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
You can prepare this casserole the night before and bake it fresh in the morning. Serve with maple syrup if desired.
