  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 cup hot water
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 180Β°C and grease a bundt pan well.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. Add buttermilk, oil, eggs, and vanilla extract.
  4. Mix until smooth and well combined.
  5. Gradually stir in hot water.
  6. Fold in chocolate chips.
  7. Pour the batter evenly into the prepared bundt pan.
  8. Bake for 45–50 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
  9. Let cool in the pan for 10 minutes.
  10. Invert onto a wire rack and cool completely before serving.
