Cumin Citrus Grilled Chicken

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Zest and juice of 1 orange
  • Zest and juice of 1 lemon
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh cilantro or parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, whisk together olive oil, cumin, smoked paprika, garlic powder, citrus zest, and juice.
  2. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
  3. Marinate the chicken in the citrus-cumin mixture for at least 30 minutes.
  4. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  5. Grill chicken for 6-8 minutes per side, or until fully cooked and internal temperature reaches 75Β°C (165Β°F).
  6. Remove from grill and let rest for 5 minutes.
  7. Garnish with fresh cilantro or parsley before serving.

Notes

For extra flavor, marinate the chicken overnight in the refrigerator. Serve with grilled vegetables or a fresh salad.
