Deliciously crispy baked burritos filled with seasoned ground beef, cheese, and beans, perfect for a family dinner.

- 1 lb (450g) ground beef
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 can (15 oz) black beans, drained and rinsed
- 1/2 cup diced onions
- 1/2 cup diced bell peppers
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1/2 tsp chili powder
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 6 large flour tortillas
- Cooking spray
- Optional: salsa, sour cream, chopped cilantro for serving
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
- Add diced onions, bell peppers, garlic powder, cumin, chili powder, salt, and pepper. Cook until vegetables are softened, about 3-4 minutes.
- Stir in black beans and remove from heat.
- Place a portion of the beef mixture in each tortilla, sprinkle with cheddar cheese, and roll up tightly.
- Place burritos seam-side down on a greased baking sheet. Spray tops lightly with cooking spray.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes, until tortillas are golden and crispy.
- Serve warm with optional salsa, sour cream, and cilantro.
Notes
For extra crispiness, broil for 1-2 minutes at the end of baking, watching carefully to avoid burning.
