  • 4 large eggs

  • 1 tablespoon white vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350Β°F (175Β°C).
  2. Place the unbaked pie crust into a 9-inch pie dish.
  3. In a large bowl, whisk together the sugar, cornmeal, flour, and salt.
  4. Add the melted butter and mix until smooth.
  5. Whisk in the eggs one at a time until fully combined.
  6. Stir in the milk, vinegar, and vanilla extract.
  7. Pour the filling into the prepared pie crust.
  8. Bake for 45–50 minutes, until the center is set and the top is lightly golden.
  9. Remove from the oven and let cool completely before slicing.
