Classic Chicken Kiev made with tender chicken breasts stuffed with garlic herb butter and baked to golden perfection.

- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs, beaten
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375Β°F (190Β°C).
- In a small bowl, combine butter, garlic, parsley, and lemon juice. Mix until smooth.
- Flatten chicken breasts using a meat mallet to even thickness.
- Place a spoonful of garlic herb butter in the center of each chicken breast and fold edges over, securing with toothpicks if needed.
- Season chicken with salt and pepper.
- Dredge chicken in flour, dip in beaten eggs, and coat with breadcrumbs.
- Heat vegetable oil in an oven-safe skillet over medium heat and sear chicken for 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown.
- Transfer skillet to oven and bake for 15-20 minutes until chicken is cooked through.
- Remove toothpicks and serve hot.
Notes
Serve with mashed potatoes or steamed vegetables. Chill butter slightly before stuffing for easier handling.
