Cheesy Chicken Balls


Description

Deliciously crispy on the outside and gooey with cheese on the inside, these cheesy chicken balls are perfect as an appetizer or snack.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground chicken
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil for frying

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine ground chicken, breadcrumbs, Parmesan, egg, garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  2. Take a small portion of the mixture and place a cube of mozzarella cheese in the center.
  3. Form the mixture around the cheese into a ball, sealing the cheese inside.
  4. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  5. Fry chicken balls until golden brown and cooked through, about 8-10 minutes, turning occasionally.
  6. Drain on paper towels and serve hot.

Notes

Serve with marinara sauce or your favorite dipping sauce. You can also bake them at 375Β°F for 20 minutes for a healthier option.
