Description
Deliciously crispy on the outside and gooey with cheese on the inside, these cheesy chicken balls are perfect as an appetizer or snack.
Ingredients

- 1 lb ground chicken
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 large egg
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons olive oil for frying
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine ground chicken, breadcrumbs, Parmesan, egg, garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Take a small portion of the mixture and place a cube of mozzarella cheese in the center.
- Form the mixture around the cheese into a ball, sealing the cheese inside.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Fry chicken balls until golden brown and cooked through, about 8-10 minutes, turning occasionally.
- Drain on paper towels and serve hot.
Notes
Serve with marinara sauce or your favorite dipping sauce. You can also bake them at 375Β°F for 20 minutes for a healthier option.
