A moist and flavorful banana bread perfect for breakfast, packed with ripe bananas and warm spices.

- 3 ripe bananas, mashed
- 1/3 cup melted butter
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 large egg, beaten
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- Pinch of salt
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 175°C (350°F) and grease a 4×8 inch loaf pan.
- In a mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas with a fork until smooth.
- Stir the melted butter into the mashed bananas.
- Mix in the baking soda and salt.
- Add the sugar, beaten egg, and vanilla extract, and mix well.
- Gently fold in the flour until combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan.
- Bake for 60-65 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Remove from oven and let cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
Use very ripe bananas for the best flavor and sweetness. Optional: add walnuts or chocolate chips for extra texture.
