Ingredients

  • 4 cups chicken broth

  • 2 cups Bisquick mix
  • 2/3 cup milk
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons butter

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, bring chicken broth and butter to a boil.
  2. Add shredded chicken and mixed vegetables, simmer for 5 minutes.
  3. In a bowl, combine Bisquick mix and milk until a soft dough forms.
  4. Drop spoonfuls of dough into the simmering broth.
  5. Cover and cook for 10-12 minutes until dumplings are cooked through.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Serve hot and enjoy.

Notes

For a richer flavor, use homemade chicken broth. Dumplings can be made smaller or larger depending on preference.
