- 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 2 cups mixed vegetables (carrots, peas, corn)
- 2 cups Bisquick mix
- 2/3 cup milk
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons butter
Instructions
- In a large pot, bring chicken broth and butter to a boil.
- Add shredded chicken and mixed vegetables, simmer for 5 minutes.
- In a bowl, combine Bisquick mix and milk until a soft dough forms.
- Drop spoonfuls of dough into the simmering broth.
- Cover and cook for 10-12 minutes until dumplings are cooked through.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve hot and enjoy.
Notes
For a richer flavor, use homemade chicken broth. Dumplings can be made smaller or larger depending on preference.
