Bacon Brown Sugar Chicken Tenders Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 lb chicken tenders
  • 6 slices bacon, chopped
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400Β°F (200Β°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a skillet, cook chopped bacon until crispy, then remove and drain on paper towels.
  3. Mix brown sugar, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  4. Coat chicken tenders with olive oil, then roll in brown sugar mixture.
  5. Place chicken tenders on the prepared baking sheet and sprinkle cooked bacon on top.
  6. Bake for 15-20 minutes until chicken is cooked through and caramelized.
  7. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes

For extra crispiness, broil for 1-2 minutes at the end. Serve with roasted vegetables or a side salad.
