Asian Ground Beef Noodle Bowl


Description

A quick and flavorful noodle bowl made with savory ground beef, tender noodles, and a bold Asian-inspired sauce.


Ingredients

  • 400g ground beef
  • 250g rice noodles or egg noodles
  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
  • 1/3 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons hoisin sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon chili paste or sriracha (optional)
  • 2 green onions, sliced
  • Sesame seeds for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook noodles according to package instructions, then drain and set aside.
  2. Heat sesame oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  3. Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart as it cooks.
  4. Add garlic and ginger and sautΓ© for 1 minute until fragrant.
  5. Stir in soy sauce, hoisin sauce, oyster sauce, brown sugar, and chili paste.
  6. Simmer for 3-5 minutes until the sauce slightly thickens.
  7. Add cooked noodles to the skillet and toss until well coated.
  8. Remove from heat and garnish with green onions and sesame seeds before serving.

Notes

Serve immediately and adjust spice level by adding more or less chili paste.
