- 8 oz mascarpone cheese
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups strong brewed coffee, cooled
- 2 tablespoons coffee liqueur (optional)
- 24 ladyfinger cookies
- Unsweetened cocoa powder for dusting
Instructions
- In a large bowl, whip heavy cream until stiff peaks form.
- In a separate bowl, mix mascarpone cheese, sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
- Gently fold whipped cream into the mascarpone mixture.
- Combine brewed coffee and coffee liqueur in a shallow bowl.
- Quickly dip ladyfingers into the coffee mixture.
- Arrange a layer of dipped ladyfingers in a serving dish.
- Spread half of the mascarpone cream over the ladyfingers.
- Add another layer of dipped ladyfingers.
- Top with remaining mascarpone cream.
- Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
- Dust with cocoa powder before serving.
