Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup shredded carrots
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon grated ginger
  • 1 teaspoon chili flakes (optional)
  • 2 green onions, sliced
  • Sesame seeds for garnish
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add diced onion and cook until softened.
  3. Stir in garlic and ginger; cook for 1 minute.
  4. Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart.
  5. Season with salt and pepper.
  6. Add carrots, bell pepper, and broccoli to the skillet.
  7. Cook for 5–7 minutes, until vegetables are tender-crisp.
  8. Stir in soy sauce, sesame oil, honey, and chili flakes.
  9. Cook for another 2 minutes to combine flavors.
  10. Top with green onions and sesame seeds before serving.

Notes

Serve over rice, quinoa, or cauliflower rice. Adjust soy sauce and honey for desired sweetness and saltiness.
