  • 12 wonton wrappers
  • 1 lb chicken breast, diced
  • 1/2 cup teriyaki sauce
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tsp grated ginger
  • 1 cup shredded cabbage or coleslaw mix
  • 1/4 cup shredded carrots
  • 2 green onions, sliced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Optional: sesame seeds, lime wedges, cilantro

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Place wonton wrappers over the edges of a baking dish to form taco shapes.
  3. Bake for 5–7 minutes or until golden and crispy.
  4. Heat olive oil in a skillet and add diced chicken.
  5. Cook until chicken is lightly browned.
  6. Add garlic, ginger, teriyaki sauce, soy sauce, honey, and sesame oil.
  7. Simmer until sauce thickens and coats the chicken.
  8. In a bowl, combine cabbage, carrots, and green onions.
  9. Fill crispy wonton shells with slaw and warm teriyaki chicken.
  10. Top with sesame seeds, lime, or cilantro if desired.

Notes

For extra crunch, lightly brush wonton wrappers with oil before baking. These make amazing party appetizers or fun weeknight dinners!
