Description

This Easy Overnight Bisquick Breakfast Casserole is the perfect make-ahead brunch dish—savory sausage, fluffy eggs, Bisquick, and melted cheese baked into a comforting, crowd-pleasing breakfast!


Ingredients

  • 1 lb breakfast sausage
  • 1 cup Bisquick mix
  • 8 large eggs
  • 2 cups milk
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup diced onions (optional)
  • 1/2 cup diced bell peppers (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Nonstick cooking spray

Instructions

  1. Cook sausage in a skillet until browned; drain excess grease.
  2. Spray a 9×13 baking dish with nonstick spray.
  3. Spread cooked sausage evenly on the bottom of the baking dish.
  4. Add diced onions and bell peppers if using.
  5. Sprinkle shredded cheese over the sausage layer.
  6. In a mixing bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, Bisquick, salt, and pepper.
  7. Pour egg mixture evenly over the sausage and cheese.
  8. Cover and refrigerate overnight.
  9. Next morning, preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  10. Bake uncovered for 45–50 minutes, or until set and golden.
  11. Let cool slightly before slicing and serving.
