Description

These Mediterranean Ground Beef Meatballs are juicy, flavorful, and packed with herbs, spices, and aromatics—perfect for bowls, wraps, salads, or dipping into tzatziki.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup onion, finely diced
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp olive oil (for cooking)

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, garlic, onion, parsley, cumin, oregano, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  2. Mix until fully combined but do not overmix.
  3. Form into meatballs about 1 to 1.5 inches in size.
  4. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  5. Cook meatballs for 8–10 minutes, turning occasionally, until browned and cooked through.
  6. Serve warm with rice, salad, pita, or tzatziki sauce.

Notes

Add chopped mint or feta for extra Mediterranean flavor. These meatballs also bake well at 400°F (200°C) for 15–18 minutes.
