These Mediterranean Ground Beef Meatballs are juicy, flavorful, and packed with herbs, spices, and aromatics—perfect for bowls, wraps, salads, or dipping into tzatziki.
Ingredients

- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 egg
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup onion, finely diced
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1 tsp oregano
- 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tbsp olive oil (for cooking)
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, garlic, onion, parsley, cumin, oregano, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Mix until fully combined but do not overmix.
- Form into meatballs about 1 to 1.5 inches in size.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Cook meatballs for 8–10 minutes, turning occasionally, until browned and cooked through.
- Serve warm with rice, salad, pita, or tzatziki sauce.
Notes
Add chopped mint or feta for extra Mediterranean flavor. These meatballs also bake well at 400°F (200°C) for 15–18 minutes.
