Crockpot Shepherd’s Pie with Ground Beef

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups frozen mixed vegetables
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 3 cups mashed potatoes (prepared)
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. Brown ground beef in a skillet with diced onions and garlic; drain excess grease.
  2. Transfer cooked beef mixture to the Crockpot.
  3. Add frozen vegetables, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  4. Stir to combine.
  5. Spread prepared mashed potatoes evenly on top.
  6. Cover and cook on LOW for 4–5 hours or HIGH for 2–3 hours.
  7. Sprinkle cheddar cheese on top during the last 15 minutes of cooking.
  8. Serve warm and enjoy.

Notes

Use leftover mashed potatoes or instant potatoes for convenience. For extra flavor, add fresh herbs or a splash of gravy!
