- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 3 cans baked beans
- 1/2 cup barbecue sauce
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 tbsp ketchup
- 1 tbsp mustard
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Heat olive oil in a skillet and sauté onion until softened.
- Add garlic and cook for 1 minute.
- Add ground beef and cook until browned; drain excess fat.
- Stir in baked beans, barbecue sauce, brown sugar, ketchup, mustard, salt, and pepper.
- Transfer mixture to a baking dish.
- Bake for 30–35 minutes until bubbly and thickened.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
Great served with cornbread, rice, or as a side dish for grilled meats.
