- 4 chicken breasts
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 large tomatoes, sliced
- 8 oz fresh mozzarella, sliced
- Fresh basil leaves
- 2 tbsp balsamic glaze
Instructions
- Season chicken with Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Sear chicken on both sides until golden and cooked through.
- Reduce heat to medium and top each chicken breast with tomato slices and mozzarella.
- Cover skillet and cook until cheese is melted.
- Remove from heat and garnish with fresh basil.
- Drizzle with balsamic glaze before serving.
